Camp Information--Forms and information will be coming home soon. Please make sure to read all of the information with your child and return any permission forms by the date indicated. The remainder of the trip cost will be due in early June.
ELA--The students have finished their first novel and have begun their second novel. Their final project for their second novel will be due on June 8. They will be reading three novels: The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, Where the Red Fern Grows, and Island of the Blue Dolphin. Two Reader Responses are due on May 28.
Math-- Gr. 7s are working on Ch. 12--Median, Mode, Outliers. The Gr. 8s are working on Ch. 12--Tessellations. Both grades should finish at the end of the week.
Social Studies-- Student completed their study on the cultures of Ghana and Mali and have begun working on the cultures of the Mayans, Aztecs, and Incas.
