Welcome Winter! Hopefully it comes and goes in a hurry.
The students did a great job this week with their Chapel Presentation--they did a Reader's Theatre on Bullying.
Mr. Badiuk & Mr. Wozney now have blogs. They have been connected to our website. You can view them at www.bsls.ca.
ELA--I will be checking reading logs on Monday for 150 min. of reading as well as Agendas for signatures. The students have completed and presented their Fairy Tale projects and will now be sharing their Children's Bible Stories with their peers for peer evaluation. The students will be writing Power Paragraphs using a different style starting his week. They will be able to choose their style. Three Reader Responses are due on March 19.
Math--The Gr. 7s completed Ch 7 on adding and subtracting fractions and mixed numbers. They will have a test on Monday. The Gr. 8s just wrote their Ch. 6 test and began Ch. 7 on Volume.
Social Studies--Students have begun their Chapter on the Ancient Greeks. They will be spending some extra time on Social Studies this week to catch up.
