Weekly Update--December 2, 2013

ELA--Students continue to descriptive paragraphs in their Power Paragraph Journal.  We will complete our Short Stories Unit about True Courage this week and begin our Christmas Novel Study--Searching for David's Heart.  If anyone has copies of the book at home, please bring them this week to follow along in class.  Two Reader Responses are due on December 16. 

Math--Gr. 7--Students are working on Ch. 5--Probability.

Math--Gr. 8--Students began Ch. 5--Surface Area today.

Social Studies--Students are working on their unit--The Early Peoples through various activities. They will have a test later this week or early next week.
