Weekly Update--November 13, 2013

ELA--Students will be working on  Adjective and Adverb worksheets and their portfolios.  Three Reader Responses are due on November 29. 

Math--Gr. 7--Students have started Ch. 4--Fractions, Decimals and Percents.

Math--Gr. 8--Students have started Ch. 4--Understanding Percents.

Social Studies--Students have started their unit on The Early Peoples.

Weekly Update November 4, 2013

We will be having a Remembrance Day Ceremony on Thursday, Nov. 7 @ 10:30.  All are welcome.

ELA--Students will present their stories tomorrow.  They will be working on Remembrance Day activities as well as some Adjective and Adverb worksheets.  Three Reader Responses are due on November 29. 

Math--Gr. 7--Students have a test on Ch. 3--Geometry and Measurement, tomorrow.  We will start Ch. 4--Fractions, Decimals and Percents on Wednesday. 

Math--Gr. 8--Students have a test on Ch. 3--Pythagorean Relationship, tomorrow.  We will start Ch. --Understanding Percent on Wednesday.

Social Studies--Students continue to discuss societies.
