Student Led Conferences are on Nov. 20 and 21. Sign up sheets are on the bulletin board across from the office. If you are unable to attend on those dates and times, please contact me and I will arrange a separate time for your child to share their accomplishments with you.

ELA--Students will begin Unit 2 of our Short Stories unit which includes social skills. We will also be working on portfolios this week.
Art--The Remembrance Day collages are posted on our bulletin board.
Math--Gr. 7--Students begin Ch. 4 this week on Fractions, Decimals and Percents.

Weekly Update November 4, 2012

ELA--Students have presented their Halloween Stories to the class. We will continue with our Short Stories unit which includes social skills. Also this week we will be completing a mini unit on Remembrance Day.
Art--Students are completed an Art Project for Fall Supper and will be completing a project for Remembrance .
Math--Gr. 7--Students are working on Ch. 3, Geometry and Measurement. The have completed They should finish the chapter this week with a test on Thursday.
Math--Gr. 8--Students are working through Ch. 3 on the Pythagorean Theorem. They will complete the chapter this week with a test on Thursday.
SS--Students have begun Ch. 2 on Movement--Population, Migration, etc. We have discussed the articles on Movement of Population and will look at population density this week. We will also focus on Remembrance Day.
