Good Afternoon,
I hope you are enjoying this beautiful weekend. What a wonderful way to welcome fall!!
ELA--I will be checking reading logs on Monday for 150 min. of reading as well as Agendas for signatures. The students have had some time this week to start working on their Scrapbook/Timeline/Autobiography project. Please help your student by finding pictures of them to go with each year of their life. They can be digital or we can photocopy/print them in color at the school. I will be giving the students more time this week to work on this project as well as next week. My tentative due date is Oct. 7 (Friday before Thanksgiving). Two Reader Responses for September are due on Friday, Sept. 30.
Math--Both grades are working on Ch. 1. with tests by the end of the week.
Social Studies--We have begun Ch. 1 with an introduction to the text book.
The students worked on a landscape picture with watercolors with Ms. Kuhl. Most of them have completed it and they will be displayed on our bulletin board sometimes this week.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns via email or call the school.
