Weekly Update December 13, 2013

ELA--Students will complete the Christmas Novel Study--Searching for David's Heart.  They will complete a final project on the novel when we return after the break.  Two Reader Responses are due on December 16. 
Social Studies--Students are working through a unit on Egypt.

Weekly Update--December 9, 2013

ELA--Students continue descriptive paragraphs in their Power Paragraph Journal.  We began our Christmas Novel Study--Searching for David's Heart.  If anyone has copies of the book at home, please bring them this week to follow along in class.  Two Reader Responses are due on December 16. 

Math--Gr. 7--Students will complete Ch. 5--Probability this week.

Math--Gr. 8--Students will complete Ch. 5--Surface Area this week.

Social Studies--Students have begun a new unit on Egypt.  They should be bringing home their tests for signing this evening.
