ELA--Students continue to work on Adjectives and Adverbs through their Power Paragraphs. We started a Short Stories Unit about True Courage. Three Reader Responses are due on November 29.
Math--Gr. 7--Students have completed Ch. 4--Fractions, Decimals and Percents and began Ch. 5--Probability.
Math--Gr. 8--Students have a test on Ch. 4--Understanding Percents on Thursday. We begin Ch. 5 on Surface Area this week.
Social Studies--Students are working on their unit--The Early Peoples through various activities with Mr. Malech, our student teacher from the University of Winnipeg. He will be with us full time until Christmas.
