ELA--Students will be working on a Current Events Assignment, adjectives and adverbs, Capitals and a new unit of Short Story Anthologies--Cats.
Reader Responses--3 due on Feb. 27. 

Math--Gr. 7--Students will begin working on Ch. 8--Circles.

Math--Gr. 8--Students will begin working on Ch. 8--Integers

Social Studies--Students will appreciate that the quality of life is not solely determined by access to wealth, resources, and technologies.

Science--The students have been working on researching natural resources.

Update February 1, 2015

ELA--Students will complete and present their project on their Dream Room this week.  Next week the students will begin a unit of Short Story Anthologies.

Math--Gr. 7--Students are working on Ch. 7--Add and Subtract Fractions.

Math--Gr. 8--Students have begun working on Ch. 7--Volume.

Social Studies--Students continue to discuss the impact of various factors on quality of life in Canada and elsewhere in the world.

Science--The students have started the unit on the Earth's Crust and talked about the layers of the earth and rock types.
